Pulse + Salesforce

Pulse + Salesforce

When a deal closes in Salesforce, the real work begins. The Pulse + Salesforce integration bridges your sales pipeline and your project delivery engine, so nothing falls through the cracks between “won” and “delivered.”

Connecting Sales and Delivery

Automatic Project Creation from Opportunities

Configure Pulse to automatically create a new project whenever a Salesforce Opportunity reaches a defined stage — typically “Closed Won.” The project is pre-populated with data pulled directly from the Opportunity: client name, deal value, close date, account owner, and any custom fields you map. Your delivery team has full context from the moment the handoff happens, with no manual data entry required.

Account and Contact Sync

Salesforce Accounts and Contacts are available inside Pulse as project stakeholders. Tag a client contact on a task and Pulse links back to their Salesforce record, giving your team instant access to the full account history without leaving the project view. Updates to contact details in Salesforce sync to Pulse automatically.

Task Activity Logged to Salesforce

Key Pulse activity — project status changes, milestone completions, and client-facing deliverable approvals — can be written back to the Salesforce Activity timeline on the linked Account or Opportunity. Your sales team and account managers see real-time delivery progress inside Salesforce without needing a Pulse login. This keeps client-facing teams informed and eliminates the “how is the project going?” interruption during delivery.

Custom Field Mapping

Every business runs Salesforce differently. Pulse gives you a flexible field-mapping interface to connect any Salesforce standard or custom field to the corresponding Pulse project field. Map contract value to project budget, implementation tier to a Pulse template, or CSM owner to a Pulse project lead — the integration adapts to your process, not the other way around.

Reporting Across Both Platforms

Pulse project data — delivery dates, time logged, task completion rates — can be surfaced in Salesforce reports and dashboards via a managed package. Sales leaders and operations teams get a single view that connects pipeline health to delivery capacity, making it easier to spot bottlenecks before they affect client satisfaction.

Who Benefits

The Pulse + Salesforce integration is built for professional services firms, SaaS implementation teams, and any organization where sales and delivery operate as a connected unit. If your team regularly onboards new clients after a sale, this integration closes the handoff gap.

Setup and Requirements

The Salesforce integration is available on Pulse Professional and Enterprise plans. Setup requires Salesforce Administrator access and takes approximately thirty minutes. A step-by-step configuration guide is available in the Pulse Help Center. Pulse is also listed on the Salesforce AppExchange for simplified discovery and installation.
